Welcome back!

I am pleased to announce that the the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hungary will relaunch after the many tragic months of havoc wreaked by COVID around the world. With vaccinations appearing to be common among our members, we are confidently rejuvenating the Chamber’s activities and plan to launch activities that have been on hold.

We will be hosting the 27th Lobster Dinner this year after skipping it in 2020. With a little foresight and precautions taken by fully vaccinated members, we hope to open the doors for one of the most cherished Canadian events held in Hungary. Sponsorship spaces are now open as are registrations for individual and corporate tables.

We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

We extend our warmest thanks to our sponsors and members that have been resiliently supporting the CCCH through this difficult time. You have all made it possible for us to weather this storm and now to continue keeping our community together with a new program for 2022.

Csilla Nagypal- Kuhar will continue leading our team. Joining the organization is Zsuzsa Lukacs, an enthusiastic Canadian who I am sincerely looking forward to contributing to our program in the coming months.

The Canadian Embassy in Hungary is now lead by Her Excellency, Ambassador Caroline Charette and Trade Counsellor, Francis Uy, an experience trade officer joining the Embassy in 2021. With our new opening, we look forward to welcoming them in person and working closely with them to uplift the cooperation between Canada, Hungary and the region. A warm welcome to you both!
